How to use casing guide shoe or casing starter in the casing shoe drilling?

1.    What is casing guide shoe?

Casing guide shoe, is also called casing starter. It is an important part of segmental casing liner that widely used in deep foundation engineering, bored piling and foundation drilling.  

2.    The structure of casing guide shoe

Casing guide shoe is composed of a male casing joint on its end and on the other end different kinds of casing bits are equipped for the drilling purpose.

3.    The using of casing guide shoe

Through the casing bolts, the male casing joint of casing guide shoe can be connected with female casing joint of segmental casing tube. According to the hardness of soil formation, we can install casing guide shoe with different types of casing bits such as WS39 or welding bar to drill. The casing guide shoe also can be made with different lengths to meet project’s requirements. 

4.    The maintenance of casing guide shoe

As casing bolts and casing bits are wearing parts, it’s necessary to check these wearing parts in time and replace the worn-out bolts and bits with the new one.
